Recommended Slate Announced - 1.5.2009
Per the MRC bylaws, a nominating committee, formed by board resolution, has announced the following slate of candidates for officers of the MRC for the 2009 elections.
Chair: Will Infantine
First Vice Chair: Keith Murphy
Second Vice Chair: Jean Esslinger
Treasurer: Bryan Bernier
Secretary: Win Hutchinson
Board elections will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday January 21st at Murphy's Taproom, 494 Elm Street in Manchester. Nominations may also be made from the floor at that time, prior to voting, and all candidates will receive three minutes to address the membership.
According to MRC bylaws, any Manchester Republican who has attended at least three general meetings in the previous calendar year will be entitled to vote in this election.

MANCHESTER -- The Manchester Republican Committee today released a report proving that the NH Democratic Party and its candidates have received $1.745 million from out-of-state sources, amounting to 47.21% of their total primary take. The NH Republican Party and its candidates, by contrast, have received less than $209,000 from out of state. The reports come in the wake of accusations by the Democrats of Republicans using "out-of-state influence" to affect New Hampshire politics.

MRC ENDORSES SPENDING CAP, CHALLENGES CITY DEMS TO JOIN IN PROTECTING TAXPAYERS
MANCHESTER -- The Manchester Republican Committee today congratulated the New Hampshire Advantage Coalition on filing the petitions necessary to place a question before the voters limiting the city's spending increases to no more than the rate of inflation. "This is a huge accomplishment for the staff and volunteers of the NHAC, and Manchester will be better for it when this ballot question passes in November," said Will Infantine, chair of the MRC.
